Come stay at a cozy B&B on the Alpaca farm.
Located in the rolling hills of the Palouse, we offer a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment in our barn with beautiful views. We have a keurig, microwave, coffee maker & fridge, with a cold breakfast provided.
Sleeps two.
The space: This is a working farm! Flies, smells, animals, are all part of the experience.
If you are booking for a special event, such as an anniversary celebration or such, let us know so we can help make your stay even better! Feel free to email us with any special requests (i.e. rose petals, candles, etc). We will do our best to accommodate you!
Provided for you: If staying during summer months, we have a table and chairs set up for your convenience so you may sip your coffee, while watching the sun come up as the alpacas graze. It's a beautiful experience! During winter months, a small table with chairs is set up in the bedroom for dining purposes. Coffee, snacks and a cold continental breakfast are provided. For breakfast: muffins or cinnamon rolls, bagels, fresh fruit, and juice are in the fridge.
During your stay: We are around most of the time and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the alpacas! So, come, stay and learn about how to start your own alpaca herd! They are lovable animals and will capture your heart! There is also a TV and DVD player with an assortment of movies! Unfortunately, we do not have cable. There is a small ironing board and iron for your convenience. We provide Moscow Chamber of Commerce maps and brochures with information about local restaurants, businesses, and things to do!
Guest access: The closest shopping is in Moscow (smaller retail stores, great antique stores, boutiques and so much more!). For bigger store shopping, Spokane and Coeur d 'Alene are just over an hour drive. In August and September months, that is prime huckleberry picking time! There are quite a few hiking trails located in the entire area of the Palouse. *Kamiak Butte, located 15 minutes away, is a great spot to pack a picnic and do an afternoon hike. *Laird Park is a beautiful place with lots of hiking trails and river that is great to float a raft on. *Spring Valley Reservoir, located about 45 minutes away, is an amazing fishing spot and fantastic place to canoe at! Visit the Moscow Chamber of Commerce website for more activity ideas!
Interaction with guests: We are a family run farm. We are often with our animals and in our barn frequently. We have a separate entrance, so, we will be out of your way. We do our best to respect your privacy and will be happy to accommodate you with most things! A greeted check-in is usual, but if you arrive when we are not able to greet you, your room will be left open for you so you may come and go as you please! You will have your own key so you may lock up as you wish.
We hope you get to come visit us!
We use airbnb for the majority of our bookings.

We do offer gift certificates, as well.
"We had a great time! The location was excellent- far enough outside the city to be calm but close enough to shop, eat, etc. The BnB itself had everything we could need and more- it was organized well so everything was accessible, had plenty of dishes and utensils, breakfast goods were provided and plentiful. Lots of cute touches, like alpaca decor and a bottle of wine to greet you. The communication with Katie was the best of any Air Bnb hosts I've met. The emailed instructions were also really clear and thorough. We'd love to come back again!" - Hilary
"Incredible location! We had an amazingly relaxing time staying at the Alpaca Farm. You must stay here! We spent two perfect nights complete with views of the hills , alpacas , and breakfast each morning in the warm sun. Sweet dogs welcome you.... the alpacas grazing in the distance. Thank you Katie & family!!" - Amanda
